How do I read my driver card?
The driver card must be read out every 28 days. Whether via one of the 450 public tacho stations throughout Germany or with readout hardware directly via the tachograph - within 30 seconds the data is securely encrypted and automatically imported into the web portal. With the proper telematics hardware from DAKO, the driver card can also be read automatically from a distance. Alternatively, the driver card data can also be imported manually into TachoWeb.

With the TachoWeb Driver extension module, you will never again miss a readout date and save valuable time otherwise spent reading out your driver cards manually. Driver cards are read out automatically every seven days. Even data from the new generation of driver cards can be read out without any problems.

TachoWeb includes templates for driver licence checks and instruction logs that can be easily generated and personalised. Expense reports are also automatically generated in TachoWeb and can easily be extended to include individual expense rates or payments. In this way, you save time and standardise your documentation for more clarity.

The TachoWeb driver extension module is billed monthly as a subscription. The number of data records stored on the driver card serves as the basis for billing.
